Shannon Kurzeski FNP-C DNP APRN-BC , is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who provides exceptional care to all of her patients at Ludlow Pediatrics in Ludlow, Massachusetts.


Shannon’s love of medicine started when she was fourteen years old and she was a candy striper at Holyoke Hospital. She has always had a passion for babies and children of all ages and a strong desire to care for them. Shannon graduated with her Associates Degree in the Science of Nursing from Springfield Technical Community College in 1988. She went on to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management from Cambridge College in 2013. She went on to obtain her Masters’ in Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 2015. She obtained her Post Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2017 and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2018. She is board certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.


Shannon has trained and practiced at Baystate Medical Center, Holyoke Medical Center, Caring Health Center, Orthopedic Spine and Sport, Quabbin urgent care, Umass Health Services, and Monson Pediatrics. She has also worked in acute care, subacute care, early intervention, family and pediatric medicine. Shannon owned a successful Home Healthcare company for seven years caring for patients from infancy to geriatrics.


Shannon’s goal is to make all of her patients and their families, feel comfortable when going to their appointment. She is truly passionate about the well being of her patients and wants to make sure their questions are answered, and they feel confident and happy in the care they receive. While illness can be a time of fear and uncertainty, going to see your Provider shouldn’t be. Shannon wants every patient that she sees from birth to college age, to feel at ease when coming to see her. She loves researching pediatric medicine and utilizing current guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.


Outside of work, Shannon loves spending time with her wonderful husband, and four amazing boys aged from 26-6! She also loves decorating, real estate, gardening, going to the beach and traveling to Florida.
