Rachel Mick, RN, MSN, PNP-C

Nurse Practitioner located in Ludlow, MA

About Mick

Rachel knew from an early age that working with babies and children of all ages was her dream. After deciding to attend nursing school, she knew that getting her Master’s to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner was next. Rachel graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2017 from Elms College and continued right on to attend Regis College where she obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

Rachel decided on a career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner because of the ability to truly get to know her patients. She thoroughly enjoys talking with her patients and providing the necessary care in a healthy, happy environment. Rachel strives to answer all questions and leave patients and families at ease during appointments.

Rachel began working as a school nurse in Springfield while she obtained her Master’s. From there she began pre-op and post-op nursing at day stay surgery centers where she cared from infants all the way to geriatric patients.

Rachel likes to stay involved with her local high school by working numerous sporting events throughout the year. She also volunteers for the Special Olympics around Massachusetts.

Outside of working, Rachel is an avid soccer player and coach. She currently coaches at both her local high school and at Elms College. When not playing or coaching, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, relaxing on the beach and spending time with her two boxers, Bronco and Jax.
